Warning - The Consequences of
Choosing The Wrong Breed
A friend of ours had a small home and even smaller back yard.
One day, while at the store, they noticed someone giving away husky puppies and couldn’t resist. The puppies were so darling, they just had to have one. Little did they know that Huskies were bred to run 80 miles a day and love digging holes (huskies dig holes in the snow to sleep in at night to stay warm and protected).
We visited one day and noticed a warn carpet trail on their new carpet as well as a handful of holes in their once beautifully landscaped backyard.
Needless to say, they were not happy with the dog. But it taught me a lesson. Choosing the right breed of dog can make or break your experience.
