Brittany Medical Challenges
Like most dogs, some Brittany’s can experience issues such as joint dysplasia, ear infections, bloat and thyroid conditions. However, the breed is a predominantly healthy one and most dogs live full lives without any serious health issue. Annual checkups with your veterinarian will help you to keep on top of any developments in the health of your Brittany. The National Breed Club also suggests that you speak with your veterinarian about hip and ophthalmologist evaluations to better understand and ensure the health of your dog. Be sure to contact your veterinarian right away if you have any serious concerns for the health and well being of your Brittany. Your dog will be grateful for the loving care you provide for them and they will be sure to find plenty of ways to show it that will bring even more joy into your lives.
