Borador Medical Challenges
This cross breed is a predominantly healthy one, though they can still inherit some health issues found in either of the parent breeds. Some of these dogs have been known to experience, joint dysplasia, patellar luxation, osteochondritis wobbler’s syndrome, hypothyroidism, eye issues, and seizures. However, most Boradors live full lives without any serious health issues. Boradors are also highly prone to obesity, especially later in life. Special is needed to make sure they are not over fed, and that they get the daily exercise they need to maintain a healthy weight. Annual checkups with your veterinarian will play an important role in helping you to better understand and ensure the health of your Borador. Always be sure to contact your vet right away if you have any serious concerns for the health and well-being of your pup. Your Borador will appreciate all the loving care that you provide for them, and they will be sure to find plenty of ways to show it that will continue to bring you smiles and joy.
